The large, new Agricon site in Balen experiences many seasonal peaks, so a smooth logistics flow that works throughout the year is a must. They produce bark and substrates for private labels, making and storing the products for their clients. Agricon Balen has a storage capacity of 60,000 pallets; they ship them out when needed. During spring, especially, they deliver large amounts daily. So they went looking for a solution.
The old way of working
Before Peripass, most of their processes happened manually, on paper, or through walkie-talkies. That meant that during peak periods, both during the season and the day, the employees experienced a lot of stress when trucks arrived too close together.

For example, they track the entry and exit weights to calculate everything correctly. All information is stored in the driver profiles, so it is easy to verify things afterwards.
