ISO, safety and privacy

Peripass, its systems, and its employees keep data safe through a strict and secure code of conduct regarding information handling. As a company, we want to rely on trustworthy partners who manage data encryption for us, both at rest and in transit. Microsoft Azure has proven to be a reliable partner in data security. The services we use from Microsoft Azure implement encryption, both at rest using Microsoft-managed certificates and in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher.

All infrastructure, people, and technologies critical to the confidentiality, integrity, availability, and privacy of all data managed by Peripass are ISO 27001 certified. We strictly follow leading international standards for information security management.

Clause 5.2 of ISO 27001 requires top management to establish an information security policy, a crucial component of Peripass data protection. This policy mitigates risk and allows for swift action when necessary. Through our continuous testing, we go above and beyond.

Peripass complies fully with GDPR requirements. Our GDPR trajectory has been thoroughly reviewed as part of the ISO certification, creating a well-defined set of future-proof deliverables regarding data privacy.

Given the sensitive nature of our customers’ data, we use tooling to make all important data, which has streamlined a driver’s experience, anonymous after their visit. We store only the essentials in Microsoft Azure’s cloud solution.
