How did Peripass improve their yard operations?

  • Driver communication – This is very important for us. Having the ability to call and text drivers during the process is essential, as it allows issues to be resolved quickly. Our previous pager system offered only one-way communication (Traffic → Driver) and had significant limitations, including a very restricted message length (16 characters).
  • Use of tablets for the 7-Point Check and other post-registration checks (ADR, Gas Check) -Using tablets is a major time saver compared to paper forms. It reduces mistakes and provides the possibility to attach pictures for reporting issues or confirming safety sealings.
  • Multistop process – The new version simplifies the multistop flow, provides a better overview, and reduces the risk of mistakes.
  • Reporting – The previous reporting process was time-consuming and not fully accurate.
  • Made-to-measure development – The possibility to develop functions tailored to the processes required by specific clients is a significant advantage.

At the gate
No more chaos at the reception desk, no more trucks queueing up outside the gates on the street, no more chaos of people walking between trucks in overcrowded parking lots.
On the yard
How do you ensure safety compliance, a quick truck turnaround, and optimal usage of your available parking and loading docks?
In the control tower
Automated task assignments prevent yard operators from idling, allowing for productivity without complicated walkie-talkie communication or task allocation delays.
