A very common situation: a driver arrives at a logistics yard with a truck full of goods to unload, but he also has instructions to pick up a different shipment. This means that your administrative crew must be diligent in dispatching and assigning tasks to this driver to prevent delays, bottlenecks, or long waiting times for the drivers.

Peripass came up with an easy way to process these multiple shipments.

With this new Peripass feature, a single reference code activates the “combined transports group”. Peripass then allows dispatchers to handle multiple transactions, dispatch them in the correct sequence, and keep a traceable path of these movements. Drivers only need one reference code to register their multiple shipments. This is a big time saver, as drivers check in only once and do not have to re-enter the site numerous times.

On the yard
How do you ensure safety compliance, a quick truck turnaround, and optimal usage of your available parking and loading docks?
In the control tower
Automated task assignments prevent yard operators from idling, allowing for productivity without complicated walkie-talkie communication or task allocation delays.
