Self-service processing of documents
During the self-registration, shipping documents can be scanned at the kiosk. This information gets immediately saved in the visitor profile for future processing and referencing.
When a driver is checking out, documents can be printed and signed at the registration desk or signed on glass. These changes to documents are saved digitally in your yard management software too and will be ready for processing when the driver is checking out. At the check-out kiosk, he can print the finalised document.
Brings organisation and focus to your transport desk
The transfer desk can see at a glance what transports are ready to depart and which documents are still missing from Peripass’s visitor list. This way, they are always focused on the right priorities.
Documents can be manually or automatically uploaded from your ERP/WMS/TMS. Afterward, they will all be saved in your YMS.
More than “sign on glass”
Have drivers sign documents digitally in a classic sign-on-glass module. This will keep your logistics processes paperless but allow the driver to depart with a printout for their company’s administration.
Drivers identify themselves at the kiosk with the unique code they receive by text message. This extra data verification is built into our digital signature and stored in your YMS.
Assign official CMR numbers to Belgian documents
In Belgium, CMRs require unique, sequential numbers. Most sites still manage this on paper using pre-printed forms. Peripass digitises this process.
Now, when a CMR is uploaded, Peripass automatically adds a unique document number from your configured range. These digital numbers are stored in the driver’s visitor profile, so your transport desk can quickly retrieve or verify documents at any time. And if a printed copy is needed, drivers can still print it on-site.
Scannen
Have the driver scan their own documents upon arrival. From a packing list or CMR to a ticket for a temperature trailer, you choose what information you need to make mandatory or optional.
This scan is stored correctly in the visitor profile of this driver. Now, it is easy to verify all information and to centralise all the data you need.
